HAAS
a.k.a. Hiroshi Takano
Hiroshi Takano made his solo debut as a singer-songwriter in 1988 with an album produced by Yukihiro Takahashi, who was also the drummer for YMO. Since then, he has participated in various projects as a guitarist, including HASYMO and Ryuichi Sakamoto, and has also worked as a sound producer.
HAAS is a project by Hiroshi Takano to express what lies outside of 'pop'. The output is diverse, centred on photography and ambient/minimal music.
